Painting Rubber

Does anyone know what paint can be used on rubber?

I've got a clonetrooper belt that is cast in urethene rubber and need to know the best kind of paint to use.

Any ideas?

Krylon fusion has worked well for me. The trick is to give it only a light coat; a thick coat will crack.

I believe I read that Krylon Fusion was not good for foam belts... have to confirm but I clearly recall reading that somewhere on the clone forum.

If I remember correctly any Krylon non-Fusion was ok to paint the foam belts.

I just thought that maybe urethane rubber belts are not the same as foam belts.... that would explain why clonesix says Fusion is ok for these belt... as a matter of fact, you might be better of listening to clonesix

If you airbrush it, mix in some latex. This will let the paint bend and it won't crack.

can mix the paint with latex if its acryllic. itll flex.
