If you're in the middle of construction you can probably post here because a lot more people will see it in the actual jet pack threads and be able to give you the feedback.

2-

Depending on what I am bonding to what i use different types of glue.
A lot of it i just start from the top and work down the list if stuff doesn't stick, best to use the cheapest glue first and if it doesn't work then try something else.

1. Hot Glue
2. E6000
3. Welder Glue (also very good if you want some give for the first 24hours at that is how long it takes before it is "hard") This stuff stinks when its setting but it is very strong.

Also for some of the PVC it works better to just use PVC glue as it can be spread thin and is made to bond PVC to PVC so you in turn don't need to use that much.
