The base bike was $2,400. Then about $1,500 in new parts for a total of roughly $3,900

Nope, not at all, in fact when the bars are fully turned I can still fit my fingers through the gap between the tank and controls!

Very nice. I def think the V-star is the best jap bike to customize. I've seen guys do everthing with them from choppers to bobbers like yours.
