Hey Fellow Fetts!

Everyone here knows I've been a ESB Fett for well over 2 years now(I'm even apart of the 501st). I decided to expand my Fett love into another kit. Instead of going with ROTJ, SE, or Mando S2 I thought to myself that even though the BoBF show wasn't that great the Daimyo costume WAS! So here is the start to another long adventure of collecting screen used parts, hiring painting services, and getting everything I'll need to make the best Diamyo Fett out there!

Happy to have you KrewKid! I’ve built a BOBF kit over the past couple months and will happily assist as much as possible to help with yours! Slightly outdated pic of the kit for reference

Thanks to 18stripes(Dalton) he has not only given me a lot of information on the kit but he is also in the process of 3D printing all of my armor pieces.

Here is the first piece I ordered!

Merrel coldpack ice boots(these were used in some shots and at the Disney Parks)

I ordered the screen used gloves! 18stripes recommended some PU leather under gloves and I think they turned out great!!

When you receive the glove you have to cut the fingertips down to the ribs and cut out all the inside.

I put an order in on a jetpack from JJ industries...that thing is a work of art and I can't wait to receive it. It has all the bells and whistles. All metal pieces from Machine Craft Replicas, light kit for the beacon and side indicators, and even comes with the screen used fidlock parts that's been discontinued!

I put an order in with Deborah Di Meo on FB for a beautifully handcrafted belt, holster, and leg gators. I will also be ordering the metal belt pieces from JJ Industries and shipping them to her to assemble everything.

I was looking at photos of the screen used gauntlet hoses and also using reference from a W.I.P. build on the bounty hunters guild.

So this is what he came up with to match the screen accurate used prop.

I found the braided hose

as for the fittings I decided to kit bash things..I cut the tip off the hose

Found some welder tips and cut them in half

I ordered 1/4" male and female jacks...males will be mounted to the gauntlet and the females will be mounted inside the hose then shrink wrapped. Making the whole assembly able to unplug.

I will post more progress tomorrow!

Well I ordered my flight suit and vest from a random etsy seller and I got what I paid for. I gave my measurements and its waaaay off. Nothing that my seamstress lady can't fix but there are a few inaccuracies and I should've bit the bullet and went with crow props.

The material is pretty good but it has a lot of white stitching i wasnt familiar with seeing. The upper pieces all seem to fit to my measurements but not everything i ordered does.

1. Elastic wrist bands were added that are not on the original shirt. I'll be having her cut those off And fitting the sleeves.

2. Hose channel sowed on the wrong side of the right arm.

3. The vest hip velcro on the vest for the back plate is also sown on the wrong side.

4. The pants are like size 42 and wear a size 32. The length is good but I feel like I'm wearing early 2000's paintball pants.

5. The kama is alittle too long and needs to be tattered and weathered

It's not bad for the money if your building a budget build but I'm trying to go for accuracy. Im sure once i fix all the issues the flight suit and vest will look amazing! I'm going to take this to my seamstress to have her fix all the issues. I wish I would've went with crowprops but man that price was really high.

18stripes came through with his armor prints before his 3d printer went out. I think everything turned out awesome and he definitely gave me a lot of useful information on building this kit. Now i await the missing helmet, backplate, and gauntlet from another etsy seller hopefully everything turns out better than the flightsuit did.

See THAT’s how you’re supposed to do a 3D gauntlet kit. Everything is already on it. The place I bought from, it’s a great kit, but I had to glue SO MANY things on. The number pad, all the buttons, even the flamethrower I had to attach.

That looks to be a lot easier to put together.

Nice flight suit. IDK why there are so many inaccuracies. The show literally showed each piece going on in the first episode.

Thanks jsmails ya I guess its just bummer to recieve something that to me could've been better quality and without the inaccuracies especially since 18stripes recommended him. He has excellent costomer service and shipping was really fast from Pakistan. It's all good though if I can get my ESB to where it is today then this kit should be no different. I think 18stripes said it's the galatic armory version of the gauntlet, the rest of the kit is Marco's
