So I was really inspired by Jayvee use of a clock to make his display stand that I saw on this post:

I was going to give it a crack, but then I realized that I really did not any desk room in my office or mancave to display on a stand. So I was left with the only option of mounting my helmets on the wall.

I really did not like the generic options you find online or in the store.  But on a recent trip to Home Depot and walking down the plumbing isle, it hit me.  Black steel piping, it looks industrial, dirty and perfect for Boba Fett.

I bought all the piping pieces I needed for $12 from Home Depot

In order to make the helmet sit steady, I took a visit to Hobby lobby to pick up some foam, .5 inch round wooden rod and wood circle board for the bargin price of $8.

I simply used gorilla glue  to add the foam and a screw to connect the rod and the circle board. I also used a bracket with duck tape. A bit of overkill, but I don't want this piece wobbling loose and hearing my helmet

come crashing down in the middle of the night.

When mounting the metal floor mount to the wall, remember to use a stud finder to hit the stud or use some quality self drilling dry wall anchors to make this mount solid.

Boom! Easy Peasy and for about $20.

I love the industrial look for this bad boy.  I will add a second wall mount for my Stormtrooper Helmet.
