Cold-cast is the casting process that was used to make the armor parts of the screen used Jango costume. Simply put, it's using aluminum filled resin as the initial coat in a mold before backing it with a coat of fiberglass. Fettpride is one of a few members here who have mastered the art of cold-casting. Some of his awesome examples can be seen in the links below:

Non cold-cast is using a "gel-coat" material to coat the molds before fiberglassing. This gel-coat can be either a "thick-like" paint mixture or something as simple as casting resin.
