Gauntlets Fitting Small

Has anyone else had this issue with the gauntlets for ESB build not being able to fit around their forearms? Granted I have big forearms and a muscular build but this was the last issue I thought I would run into. Like its not even close and I'm not even wearing any clothing on my arms when attempting to fit them.

Some gauntlets run narrower than others. Do you happen to have a picture of the fit?
You might have to trim the return edge of the gauntlet shells down more

The actual gauntlets used in ESB filming are very narrow. If the ones you got are really accurate and you want to use them then I would suggest just finding larger bottom shells to make them fit. Who did you get your gauntlets from?

I got my gauntlets from NeoFett. They look amazing, so I would like to still use them... so yeah your suggestion makes a lot of sense. Which bottom shells should I go with to have them fit?

Are they ABS? I would try to find an old set of RKD gauntlets. ManOfWar Studios gauntlets also tend to be larger, but they are made out of resin. Not a huge issue, you would just have different materials for the upper and lower shell. They may take some work (sanding and heat gun) to get them to match up perfectly.

I leave a lot of extra plastic on both the top and bottom shells to help account for more arm sizes while still allowing people to trim down as much as they need. Can you send pictures? I'd like to see how I can improve. I can also make you some modded extended bottom shells if you need.

I will send you a picture for sure. Its my fault, I never even thought checking the gauntlets sizing, I never thought my forearms would be an issue but I was wrong. If needed that would be awesome!!! Thanks!!!

Yes they are ABS. NeoFett is going to look at the pics I send her. Sounds like she may have a solution. Appreciate the help!!!

The other solution is using some ABS sheets and super glue, and add length to the bottom shells, sand so they're flush, and prime.

That's for sure the easiest solution and I have so many ABS off cuts that if OP (or anyone) needs ABS off cuts just pay shipping.
