While working with sintra to make my cod
piece, I did get a fairly smooth concave
curve to it by using the "missing pizza slice"
method...I guess you could call it. Take a
circle and cut out one pizza slice and you
will be able to shape it into a dome by
heating and shaping while at the same time
closing the gap between the two sides of the
missing slice. Make sense anyone?
Oh...almost forgot...so that it doesn't just
form a cone, cut out a small circle in the
center of it.
