I've sent you a PM. I've taken a picture of a join for you. Obviously the individual strands are staggered for strength so you only get one strand join at any point. In fact it is really hard to find a join, you have to study the leather really close up. The end of a strand is also glued down making finding a join that much harder. The picture below shows one such join. I have had to tease the join apart sideways a little to get it to show up in the picture otherwise it didn't show at all.   



You certainly won't see any unsightly lumps and bumps even if you study the bolo from 12" away in good light. :)
