well you deserve all the good press Will thats for sure!
Just a quick update, I've been busy trimming and sanding and filing, so im hoping to be painting by the weekend! 
I also went the same way as The Phantom and left a little bit extra on the armour, and not trimming it all the way...... it was approved by Rafa, so that is definitely good enough for me!
I'll be posting some pics soon!
Also my plan is to airbrush all the armour and helmet with humbrol model paints(I have most of them now), as i think it will (hopefully) be as accurate as can be in this country of limited paints! I have to thank Jayvee for inspiring me to go in that direction.
