Armor Question

It’s looks decent to me. I don’t think anyone has the gauntlets down perfectly just yet. But the other armor looks like an ok start, but I don’t really like 3D printed armor. I’d prefer waiting until someone releases either vacuum formed armor or some fiberglass armor so that it’s sturdy.
Agreed. I think MAULFETT was on the right track and had a good start. I def think a slow methodical approach to sourcing pieces for this is key. Its a hot costume yes, and we identify with it. I know Delta13Mike is doing good work on the leather and others with soft parts.
I think the biggest thing for anyone firstly is the helmet. Crucial piece to the costume and most visible.

Agreed, his leather is top notch and I would say go with Steven walker for the fkightsuit and vest. He does good work. For the helmet, I’d say efx, can’t beat that. Although it does have a steep price tag.
Maulfett is a good choice for the armor, it’ll have a nice sturdy feel to it.
Yea. Its also for tiny heads. Good way to scan it and get the details down , though idk if thats considered stealing designs etc. But yea, hopefully Steven takes comissions though im sure IB will make the suit and boots. Usually you can see top makers come out early who already have reputable shops and makers.
What will be interesting is how the 501st will go through approvals and CRL's though they are begining to have a skeleton working sheet CRL coming soon.

My opinion on The Mandalorian is that its much more sophisticated and complex then it looks but at the same time (and maybe because of that) its very forgiving. I know people like to be 100% accuratle this forum is best proff of that, but with this armor / armors it may take some time.
501'st CRL tread shows things I havent seen yet (belt wise), and I'm pretty sure pouches that are shown there are not present on Mando as we seen him. So aprrovals may be nightmare considering constant changes to his armor. Unless we would have S1E1 armor - S1E2 armor etc.

That will be ALOT of work if they do it by episode. I would personally stick with EP 1. Love the beat down look. But agreed it seems pouches and other things appear and disappear randomly in scenes.
