If you are looking for something fairly inexpensive that you won't have to use for fine/detail work, I think either a basic Testors or Badger set-up is fine. I use a Badger myself, and it does the job.
As far as where to find one; it depends where you are. If you live in the states, any larger hobby chain should carry them. Try Michael's, Hobby Lobby, Ben Franklin, and even some Ace Hardware stores.
Overseas. . . I have no idea. :confused
