I've started working around the dent area and have decided on a different approach to avoid alot of the 'clean-up' and help in speeding up the masking process. What I am doing is painting the green on by hand up next to the grey and silver scratches. Also, I am making little tendrils and stray marks as I get farther a way from the scratches, so that when I spray the rest of the green, I don't get a hard outline where I hand painted. Hand painting around the signature scratches will keep me from having to go back and fill in the little silver spots that always manage to sneak through the masking process. And now I won't have to be AS accurate with the masking process. Just as long as I cover the grey and silver of the scratches completely, I don't have to follow every little twist and turn with the masking agent, and they still come out looking accurate.
