Another thing that helps greatly with strength on resin parts glued together is to pin them along with the glue.  Basically using a pin vise hand drill and small bit to drill partially into each piece (not all the way through) and using a piece of cut metal rod to connect the holes.  You can use cut up paper clips for the metal rod.  This gives you not only different areas of adhesion but different angles of adhesion and will make something getting knocked off your gaunts, pack etc etc. a little more difficult.


Obviously this won't work for everything because some pieces are thinner than others and you can't do this on the magnets.


This was something I did when I used to build and paint gaming miniatures.  If you can't picture what I'm talking about just Google "pinning miniatures" and you will see plenty of examples.
