the photos don't seem like they offer a fair comparison. That helmet looks like EVA foam which is way more challenging to get a shiny surface on due to how porous the surface is. I have tried both paint and Rub and Buff and I prefer Rub and Buff. when applied correctly I think it is the closest...
I can. it was about $400. very heavy duty. thick lining. I'll probably have to add some snaps or velcro to the sleeves cause they shoot straight out instead of lying down. they will never pass 501st approval or look correct unless I do.

1. Locate and trace the correct oval dent shape in the proper place of the helmet.

I got it from an etsy seller. had a ton of positive reviews. Was trimmed very clean. super easy to assemble. Zero Prop shop. He has two sizes. I went with the small which fit me perfect
I found them on line after searching for two years! They were in an auction. Brand new Kenneth Cole Reaction boots. Still in the box. It was a very lucky score.
Rub and buff applied to first gauntlet. Compared to the raw. Next up finish the second. Weather. And some EVA foam for better fit. Then connect the hoses, missle and the remaining darts.
