Thanks but I already got it out. Working on a new and improved bucket now and it already looks great.

Has anyone kept them on or does everybody take them off? I'm not sure what to do. I think it would help keep the buck on my head and straight at that.

I had to rip out the foam to make my bucket. With the foam in, it was too small.

just as the title says. just got a bike/skateboard helmet to use as a dome for my new and better bucket but I'm not sure how to go about gutting the darn thing. Any help please?

Ok, I've been playing The Force Unleashed (the original) and I noticed that the earcaps are the same on both sides and he doesn't have a rangefinder. So here's the deal, I'm thinking of doing the same on mine. What's everyone's thoughts on this?

I know it's a little late but 1mm posterboard is what I used for my bucket build. That and hot glue. Worked real well. Just look at my build thread.

ok, got more done and more pics. This is what i'm going for, kinda. Not sure about the red gaunts and knee pads. Yes! Almost ready. It's been resined, sanded abit in the inside. The weather was not the best today. It rained. Hopefully I'll get more done this weekend if it's nice.

well, as the edited title says, here they are: I had to restart the helmet. I was working on it on the floor when my eight year old son accidentally crushed it. But it was a blessing in disguise. I ran out of super glue and ended up using hot glue to put the dome together. It worked...
