That's true. I have sets of dry transfers of the small black ear markings. They are based on the original style Letraset. Anyone can message me for info. (y)

Another ESB helmet project comes to an end! To recap: this was number 75 and it was a Minutefett helmet kit, with a modded interior to mimic the fabrication of the original. Accessories include the Machinecraft Replicas ultimate ear set and a Terminalfettler RF topper. Viewoptic will be doing...

The left ear is done! Just a couple of small weathering details, and then clear coat. I'll have final pics tomorrow!

The RF ear parts are finished. I'll apply the other small black markings after clear coat. The left ear is all that remains!

Started working on the ear markings. When the black arch is dry, I'll do the white markings on both ears.

I weathered the RF stalk and topper.

The ears have their base colors on.

Threw some self etching primer on the ears.

The left ear platform is detailed up.

Viewoptic requested a little additional detail on this helmet, which is to replicate the detail that exists on the ear platforms. This can be seen in some reference images from several years ago when the helmet was cast by Efx.

I completed the remaining parts of the right mandible. Time to work on the ears, and then the weathering stages!

The upper part of the right mandible is done... whew! There's a ton of tiny details to paint in this area and it really helps define Fett's "face." Since I do the damage topically, I'm including a collage showing how I build up the colors.
