Most of your questions have been answered before. I would strongly suggest setting a budget, either for the whole suit or for each piece. The templates can be found here for the gauntlets and jetpack. I made my gauntlets from sintra, and Bondo. I have a build thread you can check out. I think...

It is fine. I used primer. It took off either one or two layers with the tape I put on it. I will mask if off and some time and fix it. That was the first part of the helmet I did, I am pretty sure I got impatient between some of the coats. Sent from my Nexus 5X

I used a jump suit pattern and have a couple YouTube videos that are time lapses of me doing it. Also Arkady who makes fantastic flight suits has listed her pattern she uses (although she warns that it has been modified by her) hope that helps. Sent from my Nexus 5X

I would use Arkady's pattern she listed she is very good at making them. Make sure to check the close up pictures on the sleeves for the stitching patterns. I have a YouTube video or two where I made mine. I made the pants and top in two sections and put them together after Sent from my Nexus 5X
