    My first bucket. ESB!

I've been thinking about it, I might just smooth it out with some 0000 steel wool and just redo the top layer. Maybe it'll work? :confused

    My first bucket. ESB!

Yea :( Not sure what happened, but the dome will definitely need to be redone at some point. Just trying to get everything done in time for this weekend.

    My first bucket. ESB!

So I got the dome done over the weekend. Will definitely be hand painting the dark gray on there. Not sure why it looks light/super faded. I also started work on the left and right ear pieces. Left: Right (With a bit of a SNAFU. I'm assuming there was still mold release on the earcap...

Nah. I used Testor's Diamond Dust spray. It's a shame I didn't use this when I painted up my armor :( Thanks!

More masking. This was a lot more stressful to do because of the dome being curved/rounded and the template being a flat, 2D item. And the after with Grey 147 down... Hoping that once I get the Grey 79 down, my initial tracing is good enough to get by, lol.

And I was also able to get the cheeks done! After tracing and masking the silver, I sprayed Grey 79 on both the upper and lower cheeks. I then taped off the upper cheeks, and began tracing and masking (T&M from this point on). Once that was done, I put down the Green 78. Once it fully...

    My first bucket. ESB!

I missed a few pictures, but I first started with the rear panels. Taped off the edges, and used a plastic bag to cover the rest. I traced out all of the silver areas, put down the mask, then went over with Grey 147. (Not pictured) I then traced and masked off the Grey areas, then went over it...

    My first bucket. ESB!

Hey all, So I started working on my bucket last weekend, and have made a lot of progess (I think). Some quick specs; my bucket is the budget cast from @animefan (amazing work). And all the stencils I am using was done by @Armydad found here...

    My first build, going ESB!

Thanks! It was great cast and priming, very minimal clean up on my end before painting.

    My first build, going ESB!

Hey all, I know it's been awhile, but here are some updates: Received my Pulce 40 from @Wasteland and I'm practically finished painting it up. Just waiting for everything to dry up (Giving it two days) before I do the touch ups for the crevices and such that I couldn't get with the airbrush...

    My first build, going ESB!

First thing's first, I washed/cleaned all the resin parts with warm, soapy water with some steel wool (0000). After everything was dried out, I cut out the pour plugs that were inside the gauntlets. I started with the cutting wheel, then used the sanding drum to even it out (no pictures, sorry...

Thanks! My biggest source of reference (besides pictures) is using the guide Necronaut put together. My workshop isn't as big, but I think I can still make it work. (Guide found here: http://www.thedentedhelmet.com/f20/mow-gauntlets-beginners-like-me-46381/)

    My first build, going ESB!

Finally finished painting and weathering the knees. I was also able to get the kidney plate "belt" put in, along with the Boba thong (a bit too long, so I'll be cutting it down an inch or two) (Edit: I got the idea from this thread...
