Hey there me oul mate cyberpyrot
Glad to hear the fine people here put your heart at rest :)
Might be a good idea to update the thread heading as I nearly had a heart-attack myself reading it (thinking my own 3mm aliuminium would be rejected). :)
Your armour looks superb IMO.
What a great way to celebrate this build. And looks like you didn't need to take off much of the costume (maybe just the helmet?) to enjoy the film :)
Love the progress alienbuilder
Hey Stormcrow. I did a bit of research on the boots and the ones I bought for conversion (which will need a bit of work I admit) are as follows. I hope it's something you can find locally.
Good luck mate...
Here is one of CyberPyrots posts that got me started mate. It has links and videos. I hope it helps. :)

Most kind killstripes most kind. Looks like I'm stuck on a house project...
Can't believe I missed this comment. Thanks a lot for the kind words. Sure I'm only a relative stone's throw away in Kildare ;)
3D printing is where I want to be sometime late next year. I'd love to be able to print a set of gauntlets instead of attempt to hand craft them (yep you do detect some...
Sometimes I find moving pictures can help even better.

I'll be doing the same at some point (working on armour...
I'm just loving this build. I can't help but keep staring at this pic too. Makes me want to dump my armour build and jump into making a blaster right now :D
Wonderful skill mainst69
Ok so because my workshop is essentially my back garden, and I live in Ireland (famous for its fantastic weather) I only got a couple of hours work done this weekend.
Here is the fruit of that.
Created the rear butt armour and rounded the front base-cod-plate.
I did get some more supplies...
I've just seen your Supertrooper. It looks incredible. I'll be honest, I didn't know of the Supertrooper until I saw him on this forum. Dare I say it, he's even better than Boba himself (he was meant to be the original Darth Vader as far as I know but he became Boba in the end. At least I...
That is a thing of beauty right there. I had a feeling I spotted you and a lady fett in the Dublin Comic Con this year (I wasn't able to make it myself but saw lots of pics).
Looks amazing Battrooper well done on the jetpack build!
