I don't think it blinks at all, really. In the scene on the star destroyer, when he's standing still, you can see the light bouncing off the wall and it is consistent, no blinking. I think in the scene you posted, his movement is having an effect that looks like slight fading/blinking. W.

"Official" ammo belt dimensions? 2", 2.5", or 3" wide? I had always thought that the width of Boba's ammo belt was about 2", but I'm seeing others who are making it at 3" wide. Which is "correct"? Thanks, Wayne

I've got an extra MSH2 bucket I picked up in a trade a while back. Never even been out of the bubble wrap. I don't recall if it has the multi-piece rangefinder with the clear part or the solid-cast range finder, though. I'll have to look when I get home. Anyone know the value of these now? Wayne

Sorry about the Yankee product endorsement. :) Bondo is a brand of automotive body filler, stuff you use to fill in dents in the bodies of cars when repairing them. It is polyesther resin based, I believe. Hopefully, if you find an automotive repair or parts supplier, they will have something...

WD40 won't work very well as a release agent, and yes you will need to seal the wood grain very well, too. A skim coat of Bondo would be best to seal the wood, or you could just spray on several coats of primer, lightly sanding between each coat. If you don't want to buy actual release agent...
