I am pretty sure I have one of the liners from the guy in Argentina for my Clone helmet. That liner is HOT. Much nicer to have a little space around your head than to line the entire thing. I like the idea of motorcycle helmet padding though.

Okay, I wired up the kit that I posted from Amazon. Everything works like it should. Took about 45 minutes from start to finish, but that was because I wired the mics on extended cables and added quick disconnects. zeroskillz looking forward to that tiny form factor amp working!

I also just picked up a pair of boots size 11.5 and they fit perfect. I usually wear a size 11 (and many times a 44 for European shoes). Chris was right on in recommending one size up due to the shape of the shoe.

A 9V battery is a really poor battery for most lighting solutions. It is convenient and works, but doesn't last as long as other batteries. For that little light, you can gut the light, put a small 5mm or 3mm white led inside and wire it to a AA or button cell circuit that should last for...

There are some noise cancelling earbuds, but I believe they are a lot pricier than regular ones. You are talking $50-300 for a good pair. I have regular ones personally, not for a build-just for personal use. They are large though, and would not fit in a bucket.

We had similar ones for a company event that people used when it was nearing 100 degrees and they work well, but depending on how wet you get it before freezing it seems to drip or let water off as you wear it. I didn't like the water dripping down my forehead, but it was cool water versus hot...
