I'm using Kwik Sew K3052 and going to adapt (as you do). I can't remember - it was so long ago that I bought it! Put this costume on the back burner at the moment.

There doesn't seem to be many seams on the vest so I don't know that the jacket would really work. Interested to see how it turns out.

I'm using a body suit pattern and adapting it. Going to cut the pattern out of stretchy scrap material I bought first before cutting the precious neoprene.

I bought this from a leather retailer in Australia. It just says Genuine Leather Thonging 6 mm. Perhaps try Tandy leather?
