I think you are right in the ballpark, If you really wanted to you could add a little grey near the back of the padding but I think what you've got already is effective and should be fine

While I haven't used Machine Craft's rangefinder personally, with any helmet there is a possibility you may have to do some very small filing/dremeling inside the ear to get it to fit and mount properly but it's very easy and not a big operation.

I would say probably not unless you really want the huge bobblehead ESB look, but I'm going to summon Irongladiator in here. He's got more vertical experience than me lol There are helmets available that are bigger than others. There may be an old size comparison thread floating around here...

Eh... after you re-dye the girth belt just get a little tube of rub n buff and give the buckles a little gold tint if it will appease... BUT ....Just be careful, definitely don't let the buckles accidently fall onto a rag soaked with 90% Isopropyl alcohol later on because that would take the rub...

Right now no, WastedFett has been talking about bringing back a run for a few years but that has not materialized. If you are adamant about moving forward, you may want to consider settling for now with a less accurate pair and can always upgrade at a later point. Otherwise who knows how long...
