Hello fellow bounty hunters,
Finally had time to tackle the boots to upgrade my ESB build. I opted for a moderately dirty version, as Ord Mantell's thread pointed out that the weathering was uneven depending on the time of filming. I also left the spot “clean” on the right boot.
UPGRADE TIME !
I knew from the beginning that my first homemade shoes were a temporary solution...
And I finally found a pair of Man of War boots. Just my size with metal spikes included !
Can't wait to paint them ESB style. Any advice will be welcome ;)
Washington states looks so gorgeous ! Mt. Si would be a perfect Mt Tantiss in Wayland in the se Trawn trilogy, to put a garnison of troopers with local. But for Fett, I find it is more suitable to put him in urban places rather than into the wild.
Didn't post here since january and didn't put any effort in my build since 6 months...
But we are reorganizing some room at the house this summer and I will soon be able to put the suit on a mannequin in my home office.
I guess it is gonna be the occassion to make some improvement on the...
Hello everyone,
I'm super proud to share with you the work we set up a few days ago with other Star Wars enthusiasts from the west of France.
Our idea was to carry out a scripted photo shoot outdoors, taking the imperial period as a setting.
While preparing the project, we realized that this...
The black series ESB helmet is a nice toy. I would have dream of having it when I was 10 and was playing to Be Boba Fett with a motocycle helmet. But it has plenty of issues if you aim for accuracy. You will learn plenty on this BudaFett thread here to help you made your choice.
Well IMO the first thing you may want to do is establishing the budget you wanna spend on your build. I don't want to scare you but along with Vader, Fett is known for being one of the more expensive SW build if you are looking for screen accuracy.
Depending on your abilities, you may decided...
Amazing. It's crazy to think that more than 40 years after the release of the film, there are still elements of this costume to discover given the number of people who are dedicated to this character. I'm updating mine tonight to add this piece.
In addition, the Boba Fett Pre-pro did had someting to hide the chin, directly linked to the balaklava and attached in the bottom of the helmet via velcro. You can see it on these pictures : Dressing a Bounty Hunter in 40 Stages - A Black and White Story
I am not sure this was still present for...
You mean like this ? (from Jango Fett CRL) I am not sure how it is attached to the inside of the helmet, you should ask on the Jango Fett forum.
Anyway, Boba is not supposed to have this as you can clearly see under the helmet in the movies.
Keep working on the details.
Painted the blue and red on the left gauntlet keypad and give both gauntlets a small weathering with black lavish to give more texture.
I have a question for you Fett Specialists : should the two darts on the right gauntlet be painted red or black ? I have seen both.
