They usually ignore you, think your crazy and reply with "we make professional diving suits not costumes" or a combination of the two. The only one i found is a guy who makes funny suits (like a skelaton) but he charged a fortune like $800

Yeah we made ours in about 5 months - we nearly killed eachother tho. :lol:

As for scaling - i think you always need to scale even if youre the same height, some people have a long torso or short legs etc. As for hair, my helmet is far too small to allow tucking the hair underneath as i would like to so i have to make do with braiding it and tucking it in the cape...

We just used the soldering iron and a file as the punch was very expensive and not widely avaliable in the UK. In fact it was near impossible to find, in the end i think we found one for about $70 and i wasnt paying that for a hand punch LOL
