paint job kind of reminds me of something that used to be on ebay all the time years ago, possibly something from Starfortress like a recast of the DP statue. My eye isn't that good though, someone else can probably spot the tells better. What's it made out of?

Shocknurse beat me to it, you seek the 53rd Fast Attack Squadron boards :) CT.net is great because it's 501st affiliated and helps keep you in the loop with all the clones, but 53rd FAC is dedicated to the marines and has a LOT more information. I'm same username over there, see you there :)...

From a 501st standpoint, if Fett's daughter was a Mando it would be considered acceptable so long as you could produce 3 sources for costume references. For a custom Mando, they're still not accepted. Haven't heard any real chatter but I think Albin may have mentioned believing the Mando...

Haven't done it in awhile, but loved being Fett. It's been said here, but I'll ditto it. Move slowly and deliberately unless you have somewhere to go. Slow head movements. And by slow I mean ^&$%$ slow! (sorry, I love the Onyxia Wipe video). Practice your poses for when standing still...

Just the same for a flak vest, scrape and rub in. It should work just fine with your vest, unless it's something like nylon, which might have a hard time taking the weathering. Phil
