Yes the kit will more than likely need to be assembled, and prepped for painting.
IMO I haven't seen too many accurate paint jobs floating around. Been something rather difficult to get perfect as the original paint is very expensive and has been hard to come by.
There are a couple extra angles in there. Nothing you would see from a distance, but not 100% accurate. Hard to beat the price, with a nice repaint, though. Looks pretty good overall.
