    Joe's Mandalorian Beskar Build

It's been awhile, but the pursuit of a better kit is still happening. First time wearing Debora Di Meo's leather. I haven't trooped since, but I had to add some foam in the leather boot wrap. As well as some extra velcro on the front so the strap doesn't mis-align on the belt. Also first time...

how accurate is the redman studios BOBF helmet ?

Those dimples look pretty weird. That's disappointing. Red Bow Props is the only other BOBF helmet I know that people like. I got his cast from Jackson Rupert painted. I think the Great Ape looks like it has deeper cheeks more like the original ESB/ROTJ SE helmet. I think that's more accurate...

BOBF Jackson Rupert and Red Bow Props Helmet

Photos of it in the sun. Very different looking with real sunlight instead of artifical warm light LEDs.

BOBF Jackson Rupert and Red Bow Props Helmet

I dunno, I like the black aesthetic and the fact you can sit down or use the restroom in the BOBF cosplay LOL. I don't think the average person pays close enough attention to these costumes, so when you cosplay no one will notice.

Just a few quick shots of the helmet if anyone was interested.

Book of Boba Fett Boots Identified!

Quick update for sizing! I wear a US Size 11 in Jordan 1/2/3s. US Size 11 in Nike Metcon 6s. Size 11 in Sperry Topsiders too. Size 11 in Wasted Fett Boba Fett shoes too. EU 45 Imperial Boots Stormtrooper/Scout Trooper. EU 44 for Mando Din Boots. I usually like my shoes big since my foot is...

Best way to secure gauntlets in place?

Pictures help for sure. Reminds me of the cable management velcro holders. If the foam fails on Boba I'll look into doing something like you and Builder. For now... Boba is shelved lol. Mando is the only costume I troop lately and his gauntlets are so tight I don't need anything to keep them in...

Best way to secure gauntlets in place?

Fettacini I agree with Irongladiator I found the build thread and photo of the velcro strap that Builder used a long time ago and just looked again. However, I copied Iron with using foam since I didn’t feel like permanently affixing a velcro strap to my gauntlet. I went with foam and adhesive...

Good mannequin to handle Boba's Jetpack weight?

It comes with both options. It also comes in a 6 ft size. In hindsight, I should've got the 6 foot one since I didn't realize this one was 5 foot 8 inches and I'm 6 foot. It's okay though. Next one I buy will be the 6 ft. I'm just happy Boba is standing with his jetpack and is secure!

Good mannequin to handle Boba's Jetpack weight?

Success! He is fully dressed. The RIGHT arm cannot rotate very well towards the inner area of this mannequin since it gets too tight, but it's okay. I wasn't planning on him holding his gun anyways. For now I just shoved some furniture super sliders under the heel.

Is this in another thread or where are the pics of the plastic pieces you're talking about?

Good mannequin to handle Boba's Jetpack weight?

stleon2 it works! I have an extra pair of like $50 Boba boots with spikes that I'll drill a hole in for security, but I think I got the last mannequin from the one you linked? So glad I randomly checked this thread a recently!

Good mannequin to handle Boba's Jetpack weight?

Just checked in on this thread since I'm about to buy this mannequin! The tripod finger trick looks AWESOME! Definitely will have to try it out once I get this mannequin in hand.
