Yes sticks out perfectly. As long as you can get good epoxy or super glue to hold the Chicago screws it will never have an issue. I certainly have not had any issues.

I would also add that when you put the Chicago screw use a belt sander and flatten the back so you get a lot of surface contact or buy the flat backing ones at first. I just got brass ones and flattened them. Some are rounded on the back and won't give much surface stickage. Sent from a...

I used black and brown spray paint and just misted it then beat it up. Be sure to weather the edges on turns. Look at old leather items you have and you'll see the edges and areas that bend are worn the best . That's the effect you are looking for ... Disney sells the binders on their site...
