Funny you say that because I thought the same when I got it back and had done this with it.
It was a photo shoot the mercs had done here locally. Here's another from the shoot that had a similar camera color.

I am using Machinecraft aluminum nozzles. I installed the diode behind the nozzle with hot glue (they go into each other by about 1/2" so that is where I applied the glue.
You need to use two AA batteries for each light if you're doing two like me. If it will help anyone I am happy to take a...

Try this if the first video didn't work. I took this video back when I completed it. I was so happy but the video just wouldn't show how awesome it was I assume because of the lens flare someone told me? I...

However for evening and night troops it looks incredible and bright laser that will reach the clouds!
A few mandos saw me shooting it in the air and every single one is going to add it.

Yes sticks out perfectly. As long as you can get good epoxy or super glue to hold the Chicago screws it will never have an issue. I certainly have not had any issues.
I would also add that when you put the Chicago screw use a belt sander and flatten the back so you get a lot of surface contact or buy the flat backing ones at first. I just got brass ones and flattened them. Some are rounded on the back and won't give much surface stickage.

Yes mine is still holding tight and working perfectly with many troops behind me. Since doing this I have gotten pretty good with my 3D printer and if it ever does give me a problem I plan on designing something in CAD and mounting it. If that day ever comes I'll make a post but...
So I added the laser to my gauntlet. It's just another little party trick you can bring out when you want to in the right situation.
It's only visible as a dot during very lighted conditions but is an amazing laser at night or dark room with a fully visible beam as far as you want to shoot it...
I used black and brown spray paint and just misted it then beat it up. Be sure to weather the edges on turns.
Look at old leather items you have and you'll see the edges and areas that bend are worn the best . That's the effect you are looking for ...
