Depends on which thread you were looking at, I painted a number of fp sets back in the day, and have used a few different colors. the last set of fp armor I painted I used testors euro dark green enamel. It's a pretty good color to use if you can't get ahold of any polyscale us med green...

How much hardener did you add??? With bondo, if you add a lot of hardener it will cure super fast!!! You could try adding less hardener and it will give you more work time. Generally, the darker and redder your condo is the quicker it will cure. If more of a light pink, you will have more work...
