Thanks guys, truly awesome you all are! If that doesn't inspire me nothing will. I got RKD armour (Red Kray Dragon)... does anyone know what happened to him? I have more armour and greeblies to get and he doesn't return my messages anymore. That's an awesome comment Slappyman, I literally had...

    Killstripe weathering help!

I've been scoured most of the paint up threads, but can't seem to find anything on the marks under the killstripes. (See pic below) It seems to be damage from tearing off the masking around the killstripes (on the original helmet).Just wondering how to get a good result? Which Humbrol paint...

Awesome job! Nice to see so many Fett-lovin-Aussies on TDH. You have a beautiful, dirty and gritty looking Fett. Very jelly!

    My ROTJ journal

You're build is simply inspiring! I am a complete numpty at all this stuff. I wish I could borrow that resourceful brain of yours for my build! Lol! I ordered a helmet from Daz a few years back and there was a period where he broke his ankle and got behind with his orders. Also a bit of a lapse...

Ooooooh NICE! Really looking good. Everything looks like it's where it should be. This is the part where every time you peel the masking off... it feels a bit like Christmas! ;) Great stuff buddy! Keep em coming!

Hobbits ESB Bobamaker Paint Up!! :D

Hey folks, Another quick update on my bucket. I did a LOT of weathering this weekend. Rust marks around the trim, splatter marks and MORE scratches. The ears are nearly done, just a few touch ups. Still have more scratches and various grease/misting and splatter marks to do. Also the...

Hobbits ESB Bobamaker Paint Up!! :D

Here is a quick update on my ears and I'm happy to say, I have finished all the base colours now. With just some stickers, touch ups and a WHOLE LOTTA weathering!! Rangefinder ear Humbrol grey 79 then sand 94. Left ear grey 28+64 mixed 1:1. and green 159+78 mixed 1:1 (all paint colours mixed to...

No probs at all! This bit is really hard the first time, because you have no idea how its going to turn out. I panicked after I did the blue green and tried to mix my own colour as it didn't look right. In hindsight I should have left it alone. Stick with the 1:1 mix and all will be fine. :)...

You're doing an awesome job! Looks much better than mine. I'm contemplating doing the back panels again as I'm still not happy with them. Not that I enjoyed them, but I can do better. The concrete or grey/beige and the next step of blue/green are a headache until you peel it off.... then the...
