Darn, that is sad news. My intention was never to impune Christian. I think he got dealt a bad hand in this boot production. There was a lot of chatter over on Facebook, and I wanted to consolidate it in the forum. It’s sad that this event is wrecking things. I am empathetic.

Just got the response emailed to everyone:

The latest batch of MOW boots is arriving at people’s doorsteps and the news is not good. After many production delays, these boots are not correct: - wrong color, the fabric seems to be flipped inside-out - sole is 2-tone - shape is wonky, with wide fat ankle, wide forefoot, and tall toe box...

My MOW boots are the same - complete disappointment. I’ll start a new thread about it, if you don’t mind posting up your photo and experience. l hope we can get some resolution.

laellee Interested in designing more pieces for Jodo Kast? I’m using your existing designs but could use the other pieces, such as the belt gear.

Does anyone know how to reach Toolguy301? He is the CRL model for Jodo Kast and he designed some 3D parts. His account is listed as “guest”, and isn’t ‘clickable’ to send messages. I read he was essentially locked out. Because Shapeways went bankrupt, his storefront there as CSBProps is gone.

Toolguy301 was a ‘guest’, so I can’t seem to look him up or message. Shapeways is now out of business, so the designs are gone. Is there a way to reach Toolguy, or find the JK-specific pieces that he designed?

Forgive my untrained eye. I'm having a hard time seeing this stage. I tried comparing to the earlier photos ... Where is the pale grey?
