Finished the helmet with the visor install. The one it came with snapped when I was heating and bending it. So I picked up a curved motorcycle helmet visor. Installed some Chicago screws and hot glued the edges. Just need the chin cup and strap now. But it’s done.

I might hit you up for a E22 when I get caught up with some things.

Thanks. Well I was using the visor material the helmet came with. Until I cracked it in half. Didn't heat it up enough. Lol looking for a curved one now. The path finders build has some links their.

Did the weathering today used some burnt umber, black, charcoal acrylic paints thinned with windex. Sand paper scuffs in areas. Also used a 3m pad. Next is to mount the visor when fully dry. 1st pic is before weathering.

Got all the black details painted and painted the emblem on. Ready for the weathering next.

Did a color mix for the emblem red and orange. Somebody called it spicy orange on My Paul’s thread.

Removed the masking. Mounted the snout and heatsinks. Painted some of the black areas. Glued and clamped the visor on. Going to let the clamps set for 24 hrs.

Masked off areas and applied some Humbrol masking fluid for some damage. And sprayed the Montana Gold Sahara Beige.
