Yeah they should be plenty sturdy. Will get better also once you put the visor in, by the looks of it the OG helmet is also a pretty thin cast. I have another lineage casting as well from another maker and that one is cast like a brick and weighs about the same as a motorcycle helmet, great...

I have a minutefett cast that I'm currently painting up and i finished all the clean up and trimming before painting :) But it's entirely up to you if you want to do it. Here is a pic of the original helmet you can see that the visor area matches up roughly with the thickness of that line.

Also i would thin the thickness of the visor area aswell! you can see a line there which is about the thickness you'd want the visor area to be :)

It's lineage. MinuteFett's cleaned up lineage ESB. Has most of the original paint marks and the ear platforms have the telltale signs from the casting proccess from EFX.

Looks awesome but does not work for me unfortunately. I give up i'll just have to cut and move them accordingly :p Printed at 100,3% scale the left back panel matches almost perfectly to size but the right one at the same scale is way off. too short and too wide at the same time. Super strange...

Am i doing something wrong? I have a MF lineage cast and the stencils don't fit at all. I've tried 100% 100,4% 100,5% 101% and 102%. Have only tried the mandibles but if i get the length of the mandibles correct the ear length is way too big and the width is too thick. The latest print had the...

Thanks man! Yeah i definitely got headaches looking at the stencils. The only feasible way to do it is to just zoom in on the stencils and look at a small portion at a time, but still looking regularly at the bigger picture to make sure you are painting each damage in the correct proportion...

Okay! i would prime everything, then do the texture.. then do the green and do the silver topical! there are so few silver details on the repainted one that i don't think it's worth the work painting the whole thing silver and masking it off. I'm painting my esb helmet now and i masked off all...

Finally got around to starting the big scrape on the back plate. Been putting it on hold for good reason this spot is hell to paint. I get a headache just looking at the stencil, there are sooo many tiny details. But it’s well on it’s way but still loads left.
