    New Found gauntlet part

Huge huge congrats on finding this thing! And I really love that the first one found wasn’t from scrounging some forum.. or some Ebay find.. but a genuine stumbled upon family basement find. The kinda stuff us foundpart nerds dream of  Thank you for sharing the find with us!

Does the ESB cape have a stripe down both sides?

Certainly looks like a good contender!

Does the ESB cape have a stripe down both sides?

Regarding the aimed length of the cape, which in reality is actually a half poncho intended to be worn across the chest in the rain/weather, I want to further reference another suit that was specifically made by Joe Johnson, and as such shows very similar build traits overall That being PP1...

Does the ESB cape have a stripe down both sides?

Unfortunately this is where these get a bit tricky as getting both the correct fabric, in good lightly used condition, and in the correct “khaki green” hue is exceptionally difficult because not all WW2 U.S. tents exhibit it. Ive owned 3 separate pup tent halves myself over the last couple...

Does the ESB cape have a stripe down both sides?

Here is a closeup of the Cotton Twill material from my personal 1942 tent photographed under different kinds of lighting. You can see how the dye color likes to shift pretty dramatically depending on the light source type.

Does the ESB cape have a stripe down both sides?

Sorry that I’m only getting caught up with this just now. Yeah I myself am firmly in camp “1 Sided Stripe put on with a Roller”, especially after experimenting with it. I’ve been a bit lazy updating my build and research threads lately, but I did both Airbrush and Roller methods in my...

    Blaster Real Webley ROTJ EE3

Just interested in any proof markings on the D-bracket itself really. Im studying these because I suspect these ones possibly came from a subcontractor or possibly from Mk IV leftovers or something similar, and that may be why they have the unique 3 chamfers present on the lugs compared to a lot...

    Blaster Real Webley ROTJ EE3

Congrats on the webley. Looks like this one has the correct variant D-bracket with the chamfers on the lug too. By chance could you share its date and serial number? Id be interested in additional photos of the bracket and any stampings on it for adding to my study on these as well if you'd be...

Blaster Assistance Requested: EE-3 / MPP Flash "Mystery Holes" Alignment

Personally im of the opinion that they are more or less in line with one another. My theory on them is that the flash was possibly taken from a failed or extra Stunt Vader saber, where small set screws were possibly drilled and tapped into the steel mpp shroud and through the tube in order to...
