For a resin copy I use elastic. 4" across the key slots, leaving the key slot area void of super glue. Then just slide it in there. Helps keep a low profile at the rear of the helmet too.

Marcus, you probably fitted the knee darts now, but you work in from the outer edge. The drill holes will start to bite in the side wall, but thats fine, the dart fills te whole, if you follow. I personally dont use the resin inserts, just hot glue them suckers in place.
