Well it's been more than a year, but I figure I can dig this thread up since it's mine. I've been working on a radio pack this past week and here it is. All I've got left is some electronics, weathering, and some way to actually wear the thing

there's no need to worry about the strength of sintra. It flops around a bit when it's in a big sheet, but when you cut it down to the size of an armor plate it's rigid as can be. If you really want to be sure about it then get 6mm instead of 3mm. I've had the best luck buying 24"x36" sheets...

sick nasty. I've always loved the idea of a mando pilot and you're going down the right road with the helmet (stick an old vietnam pilot's helmet on top!). This'll be fun to watch

that's a kit I got on the Mercs boards about a year ago. I just did it up in rubnbuff and added some detailing with the lenses and paint and whatnot

Man, I have been working on this, on again off again, for about 9 months and it is finally finished. I didn't take many progress pics, but I'll post those that I have. I also couldn't resist sneaking my DE-10 in there; they just look so good together!
