Yeah, I see it now but the band doesn't sit proud like they have it. The recess present in later iterations is probably due to removal of the band which sat flush as far as I can tell. Looks like they used the Pre-pro missile on the ESB (perhaps the pack too) and removed the band which was...

The ring that the fins sit into looks very off to me. It's usually recessed, even on the original ESB pack which had the original hero grappling hook. B

No, there was an incident at work that now prevents us from doing any work after hours - that should all clear up in a week or so. But on a brighter note, John is well on his way to drawing up the body sections! AF

The hooks are basically a continuation of what is exposed - just a bit thicker because some of the thickness is in the bed or slot when retracted. No hook barbs or anything on the tips..... BORING!!! AF

Hmmm, missing one ridge = oversimplified? Not just.... Simplified? Too much simplification? How much is too much? Would you prefer the holes to be uneven as well. Kidding aside - there are 3 things that are left to do before it gets molded so it's not totally finished by any means. ;) AF

Cool beans! Tooth problem is fixed. I lopped off the old ones only after I created a new ring and made sure it was totally correct. Turns out that the definitive and accurate count is indeed 16. Old One: New One: And the completed shot: Also finally have a pic of the bottom of the side...
