Update to Ponteworks Customers (Making Things Right)

Over the past month, I’ve had communication issues with my customers, friends, and family. Many of you are aware of the medical issues my mother has been dealing with, in addition to my job loss. Since the summer, I’ve been dealing with some incredibly taxing family issues on top of what’s been going on, and I needed to seek help for it. I’m leaving it at that.

I am absolutely working as hard as I can to fulfill orders, catch up on messages, and finish the Boba commissions I have left, with the top-notch quality that you paid for. It’s obviously not what any of us wanted, myself especially, but I’m trying to make things right and make my customers happy. Again, I recognize the communication issue I’ve been having, and I can state that I never went out of my way to intentionally ignore or blow off anyone, as I’ve been mostly with my mother and wife as of recent. It’s been rough here, and I’m doing the best I can.

Again, with everything hitting all at once, it’s taking me some time, and with the quality I’m trying to deliver, they’re not projects I can rush out the door. I genuinely appreciate everyone’s patience and I’m touched by those who’ve reached out in support.

I don't want to seem like a troll on this subject, but when you screwed over Dakota by sending out old parts on the EA commission and kept the new ones, your reputation went out the window. I feel bad about your family issues and it sucks you lost your job, but that does not give you a pass on swapping out parts and not meeting your own time tables for deliveries.
 
Are you going to contact all commissions and give them a genuine guaranteed completion date or is this just a damage limitation attempt ?
 
Yep ive sent PM's via FB got the usual BS and now nothing. Ive sat on my hands long enough and sucked this ***** up enough out of respect for his privacy. He has my helmet, he has my commission.$1300 USD = $1750 AUD This mofo is a criminal, and has committed fraud. The administrators need to deal with this legally. I can't do much as Im down here in Oz and 10000 miles away. I agree anyone who vouches for this guy is as far as I'm concerned part of the problem. Im getting out of this gig as a result of this grub.
 
Administrators have nothing to do with private transactions between individuals. Even if they wanted to they couldn't do anything.

This thread has turned into an absolute car crash.
 
Now that just put the icing on the cake, Intwenother, since your so well versed in the rules of this site, and since its such a 'car crash', why don't you have the thread removed, that way it can't tarnish the joy of the site, but i reakon if you got burnt you'd be the first to be jumping up n down., starting threads.

Of course I'd be upset. I was merely pointing out that it is not within the power of the site administration to take legal action in respect of a private contract between individuals. I'm not an administrator so couldn't have the thread removed even if I wanted to, which I don't.

You're wasting any anger directed at me and you're wasting anger aimed at the site itself. If you were trying to buy a car from some bloke in a pub you couldn't blame the landlord if it went sour; you merely met on his premises. He wasn't responsible for the deal.

Come on rick ! Are you not going to reply to your own thread ? These guys want their hard earned money back. You have no right to keep it as you haven't earned it

Yup. I haven't even bothered contacting him...I figured there really was no point in it.


I also want to say that I knew I was in trouble loooong before Rick's life blew up.



The year and a half prior to everything going wrong for him were filled with false promises, missed deadlines, vague sometimes nonsensical updates, etc . Do I feel awful for him? Yes, I really do. Eight years ago I was pretty much right where he is now, but the fact remains that i had legitimate concerns way before everything fell apart for him.
