Recommendations for comfortable earbuds?

Hi all!
I know there are a lot of techies on the board, and I imagine there are a number of audiophiles as well.
I just picked up a great new phone and I'm looking to get some new earbuds to listen to music. Does
anyone have any recommendations for a set of earbud type headphones that are comfortable while still
being able to deliver clear sound at mid-high volume?
Right now, the only earbuds I have are the standard white plastic ones that came with my iPod. . . whatever
version it is. I can't remember. I find them to be pretty uncomfortable and they tend to slip out of
position quite often, so the sound quality isn't as good as it should be. Thanks for any suggestions!

I've had good experiences with the replacement buds from Wally World. Fit well, comfortable, and sound fine. My two cents....go buy a set and if you've paid more than 20 bucks you've paid too much.

i despise earbuds, no matter the make or model. i prefer a real pair of headphones, even a cheap pair. i've got a pair of jvc's that i picked up at walmart i think for about $15 that sound good and are comfortable. but if you're looking for something real nice, i'd suggest a pair of over the ear sennheiser earphones. that's what i use to dj, and i love them.

I gotta echo Mike....headphones are so much more comfortable. I've got a pair of Sennheisers...they were about $100. I use them for audio work and gaming, but worth every penny. With the amount of crappy headphones that I went through to save a buck I spent well over what the Sennheisers were worth. I think I've had them almost two years now and they are still going strong.

My partner just got a new iPhone and I guess Apple revamped their ear buds. I tried them out and they are much more comfortable than the previous versions. They have more of a curve/contour to fit your ear better. Maybe something to consider as well.

Yeah I've considered regular headphones, too. I think I read a review on Sennheiser and it was pretty favorable. Might look into those or something similar.

I have some Polk audio noise cancelling earbuds that sound good, and are comfortable for earbuds. I wear them on the plane all the time.

I picked up some little Skull Candy ear buds last night. They're not bad at all. They're pretty comfortable and deliver decent sound.
Still may look into some regular headphones though. Thanks for the replies, all!

I have the Boba Fett SMS headphones. Not worth retail but I got them for under $100 on thinkgeek.com on a great sale! Super comfortable!
