Need Help on Making Armor :(

Hello everyone,

This will be my first time making armor and I'm not sure if I'm doing things right or not. I'm using bondo on foam pieces but, I'm not sure if that's the best route to go. The armor is for my niece. I want it to look metallic or like if it's made of hard plastic at least. Any tips on how to make it look decent and awesome will be greatly appreciated. Thanks

I heard sintra is the way to go. Now, where to find sintra?

Hi Retro Riot, don't know how old your niece is, but if you're looking to make something that won't take a large $$$ investment, you might try doing a search for "trash can armor." There are patterns available that will allow you to cut sections out of a household plastic trash can.
While not the cream of the crop in terms of quality, they will come out with the curves already in place instead of just being flat like with sheets of sintra.
