Were these produced in the U.S. Or the UK or both? I asked a relative who is/was a dentist during that time if he ever saw one and he hadn't. Obviously that is just one person but don't want to waste a lot of effort trying to find one locally ( in the U.S. )

From what i recall, they were made in limited numbers and discontinued rather quickly due to them leaving a metal taste in the mouth. As for where they were made, im not sure, but i'll be someone will chime in with that info :)

Thanks! I am going to keep looking and the relative is showing pictures to his colleagues to see if they have any. I am determined to get as many original parts as I can ( may not put them on right away but will def cast them for the costume)

Id love to get a real one. One of my garrison mates is a dentist and he said he'll ask around if anyone may have one, but so far, nothin... I actually have alot of found parts on my suit, but ive been switching them out for casts/replicas and keeping the real stuff for when i retire the suit and make it a display. That will have all the real parts on it i can find!

Good luck with your search! This is a tough one to find!

I enjoy the search. I have a lot of antique places where I live and am going to check them soon. Oddly enough friends who follow my build but aren't in the hobby enjoy looking for me as well lol. The UK specific stuff is tough but I have a friends mom who lives there so she is going to ask around as well.

This is just north of Oxford Street in central London. I suppose you might call it as being in the Fitzrovia area of London.

Sad part is even if I found one I would be scared to put it on my gauntlet in case it fell off or something lol. Guess I would just make a display of found parts on my wall
