Active Hunter
Hey guys,
I bought me a girth, perfect size, just right for dying. I went to my local home improvement store, picked out the perfect shade of reddish brown and proceeded to follow the instructions for dying the girth belt. HOWEVER, it looks like I just dropped it in the paint and let it sit. Which is pretty much what I did, I think I got distracted by dad duties or something. So, I can get the thick layer of latex off the buckles with a knife and other tools, but is the mohair itself just jacked up and ruined or is there a way (with mineral spirits, paint thinner) to break that crap down and get it to feel more rope like again?
Thanks,
Main
