Necronaut
Hunter
My RKD armor arrived a couple weeks ago, and it's almost ready for color. I have a little finish sanding to do tomorrow and a final coat of primer. My Spring Break is here and I thought it would be a perfect time to knock out the armor.
In preparation for this, I've been scouring the cold north here for the recommended rattlecan colors, to no avail. So i resigned myself to airbrushing the paint color scheme from Jeremy Bulloch's armor paint-up. New problem: PollyScale & Floquil paints are no longer available in Canada! :facepalm
Looks like I'll be mixing various paint colors together to get a decent color match. I think I can get away with just Testors MM enamels on the green pieces, but the shoulders and knees will have to be sprayed with MM acrylics.
If anyone's got any experience with using MM paints for ESB armor, I'd love to hear some ideas...
