Need some help on removing hot glue

OK, I have a small to mid size smudge of hot glue on the bottom of my visor, anyway I can remove said smudge without damaging the visor?

if it's just regular hot glue just rub it for a while with your thumb. It should eventually rub off then windex the area, that should clean it up quite nice.

if you can fit your helmet into a freezer, you can put in there. Once the glue is hard it should snap right off

will this work after some time has passed? it's not a recent occurrence, just one that needs fixed. And it's not like alump, more of a smear after I tried to wipe it off with a towel.

A smear might be harder to remove but I think it's still possible. I used this method to remove hot glue from my visor as well, but in my case it was a stray "string" that had some how gotten mashed down.
