We have a thread on RPF on this project and there is great interest too. The best part is that there is no copyright junk to get in the way. Stocks are also being produced to fit the replicas. As far as conversion kits - I myself would not offer those but there may be plans for those as well.
So far I have only cast one wax to check things out. Even though the gun was molded in three sections it will most likely be offered as a single unit. The lines and grooves will be very clean though. I anticipate the final weight to be about the same as a real gun.
oh - question: In some photos of the Jedi blaster, is the hammer cut down to be more... blaster like and less 'gun' like? This is something that can be done in the wax and cut down metal finishing work.
SWEET VICTORY!!!!!! I just got a real Webley #1 Mk1 from a shop in PA! HAHAHAHAHA!!!! It cost me most of my BF budget for a while, but the cool thing is it's one of the 1915 guns--serial #540!!!! My Webley quest is finally over.
By the way, where exactly do you live? And where do you keep that Webley? Do you have a home security system? Any ferocious dogs? Do you leave any windows unlocked?......

I was going through this old thread, and got to thinking--we've had a lot of new people join since this thread was started. I was just wondering what the current totals are for TDH people owning real Webleys. We know of the people in the thread already, but what about everybody else? I was amused to think that at some point in the early 1900's, most of these guns were geographically co-located. And now we've got them! I never posted pics of mine, so here they are:
I'll trade you my HS bronze completely completed E-11 for the top one in that picture It has a real ASI 4x20 scope, real Molex connectors, real split-plugs, real connecting rods, real Heiland. The rest was scratch built. Oh and I've got a strap on it now which was copied off an original Webley strap so it's dead on. It has been shortened for the ESB style.
