Scratch Building?

Well i wanna start a Scratch build helm...dilemma, i dont want it to be the 'boba/jango' type helm...i wanna make it like the Old Republic mando helms...is there blueprints/schems/stencils available or do i have to go with custom drawings? so far my refrences are from the Knights of the Old Republic SW Comics...i think i should beable to go from there right?

Your best bet for making custom templates would be Pepakura designer. It can take any 3D model, and make a flat pattern from it. I bought it, and it's awesome. Try it out!
