I know there are a couple things that aren't perfectly accurate, and the tube stripes are missing...but I built this helmet up recently and am pretty happy with it for a display piece. Let me know what you think
That´s an MRCE lid. But did you get it like the first pic? In kit?
Looks good though! You might want to sand the inside of the eyes a bit and fix the seams around the ears and dome. Just my 2 cents.
Cause those lids come finished and are really inaccurate, but definately make good display pieces and most people don´t see the difference in design
Here´s a comparison with yours, mine before and after mod work:

lol, i know. I own a few of those too. I got a face plate mold off of ebay awhile back that claimed to be original....obviously it's not since they just made a positive of the mrce faceplate. But I tried it out for the heck of it to see how it'd pull the detail and it's good for just display. i might rework it to fix the teeth situation, but it was fun building a helmet kit without feeling it's expensive and something could get ruined.
i also didn't want to use the best tk accessories as i have no intention of using the helmet, thus $5 of hardware parts finished off the rest of it.
Hehe Yeah there are always some easy cheap tweaks that can be done. I too would not spend a lot of good TK stuff and money on something like that. But it is fun to what you can achieve with a minimum of money and parts!
