Oh nice nice going for ESB version, eh? I am going for ROTJ myself I'm currently still applying damage, and ordered some padding, since I already ran out, and its kinda big for my head so.. i'm thinking of installing the visor , but thatll be done via hot glue, I sitll have t ocut out the T though....
as for the stalk, I am wondering wether to glue it into the base, as it kinda stays put nicely, so if I need to I can move it infrotn fo the visor without the mechanism, but thatll be up for debate, currently going for glue as its kinda leanign to the right, instead of straight
The attaching of the visor is giving me a damn ehadache! nothign will stick to the inner surfa,ce ive tried hot glue, power tape, andn ow using kneadable epoxy to attach a bolt, and at one side they just come straight off, is the fiberglass/resin doing this?
edit: let me rephrase, it sticks, and sticks good, just it rips everything off when it comes off, i honestly don't know wtf to do anymore , guess i won't be wearing it tommrow
haha, found a way to fix it, had to sadly dril la hole into the helmet but i camouflaged it pretty well so you can't see the bolt, so..heres a pic of me wearing it while posing with vader and a trooper
So now onto the armor I guess, but I do know in the future, I will be buying a helmet kit from the pros, makign the pepakura was fun, and a very good experience, but I'm pretty sure i far exceeded the costs of buying a kit

Nice pic! I have reached the same conclusion as you regarding the cost of pepakura. Oh well. For the visor, I used binding posts / Chicago screws that I attached with epoxy resin / glue. Here's a pic (I still have the protective film on the visor
I have been under the weather as I recuperated from surgery, but I was able to make some progress on my helmet.
